The Veneto-based group, a leading manufacturer of eyewear components, takes over the company specializing in the supply of zamak elements. With this transaction, Visottica Comotec creates a production hub unique in the world in terms of capacity and technology.
Susegana (Treviso), March 2021 – Visottica Comotec, a company based in the Veneto region and world leader in the production of eyewear components, has completed the acquisition of 50% of Eurodecori, a company of excellence based in Belluno and specialised in the production and processing of elements made in zamak (a zinc alloy). The agreement between the two companies includes an option for the purchase of 100% of the shares of Eurodecori.
“This acquisition has a strategic value for our Group – says Rinaldo Montalban, President of Visottica Comotec – Eurodecori has an extremely specialized know-how and a wealth of precious skills that today become part of our assets and complete our market offer. We will create virtuous synergies between the different companies that are part of Visottica Comotec and we will be able to offer a more complete service to our customers”.
“Thanks to a consolidated leadership in the eyewear sector and long-standing partnerships with some of the world’s biggest brands – adds President Montalban – Visottica Comotec can now provide a complete range of products for this sector and think about further diversifying its offer, enhancing its strategy of expansion towards new areas like industry, fashion, costume jewellery and giftware. The market offers new opportunities, and we are ready to seize them, with the scope of confirming ourselves as a reliable, innovative and quality partner”.
For Visottica Comotec – with headquarters in Susegana (Treviso) near the heart of the world’s most important eyewear district – becoming part of Eurodecori is a step of that expansion that began in recent years through a policy of strategic acquisitions that has led to expand and integrate the Group’s offer, creating a technology hub of the highest level and unique worldwide in terms of capacity and technology.
