Last May 2018, from 7th to 9th, over a hundred Middle School students visited our headquarters.
The 2nd classes of the “Istituto Comprensivo” of Susegana (Italy), with their teachers came for visiting the Visottica Comotec Italy plant guided by our production managers. During the previous school year, the Middle School has obtained the funds granted by the “Atelier Creativo” Project. According to the National Plan-Digital School of the Italian Education Ministry, this project aims to develop the student’s creative, technological and manual skills through different activities in classroom and with private partners.
Visottica Comotec, as private partner, has been invited to explain the product’s development process: from the study of the details in the engineering department to the manufacturing process, through a technological and working point of view (school – work connection).
The Visottica Comotec’s partnership carried out in two-stage: a conference at the school on the company reality followed by the visit of the students to our Susegana plant.
It was a pleasure for us to have been a part of the project, which allowed the school to get the funds of the National Plan – Digital School and thus to renew its computer lab with twenty new computers and a 3D printer.
