A group of students from the International Summer Program in Management (ISPM) of the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Padua, recently visited the Visottica Group headquarters in Susegana (TV) as part of the ‘Intercultural Management: theory and practice’ course.
The students, with Paolo Praloran, General Manager of the Chinese factory from 2011 to 2017 and now Group Head of Subsidiaries Operation Development of Visottica, and accompanied by Professor Diego Campagnolo, were introduced to the reality of the production plant in China, exploring the differences and peculiarities linked to the cultural, economic, and social context in which an Italian company operates in the Asian country.
The collaboration between Visottica Group and the University of Padua began in 2016 and has involved around a hundred students over the years, who have had the opportunity to ‘experience first-hand’ the operational reality of our Group and understand concretely how to combine the Italian manufacturing and managerial culture with the Chinese legal and social framework.
A unique opportunity to connect the #academic and #business worlds, something we are happy to have renewed again this year.
