Boosting team spirit, encouraging connections outside of work, promoting employee health and well-being through physical activity. These are the goals that formed the foundations for the Visottica Group’s first company event on 15 September in Caorera, in the municipality of Setteville in the province of Belluno.
Organised in collaboration with Pro Loco Caorera, around 500 employees and their families took part in a day of sport and conviviality, in a picturesque natural location near the company’s production sites.
The event offered three courses: a 6 km walk, a 6 km run for sportier participants and a shorter 3 km route that was accessible to everyone, including children. The event was met with enthusiasm: entire families were pleased to take place, confirming the initiative’s success.
Once the sport activities had ended, participants came together for a lively lunch, which saw department heads from various Group plants under the unusual guise of serving staff. This small yet significant gesture marked recognition of the workers’ daily efforts and added a heartfelt touch to a day full of sharing, support and a sense of belonging.
The event was also attended by the Montalban family, with special thanks from President Rinaldo Montalban.
Visottica actively undertakes to support and take part in social, cultural and recreational initiatives that make a positive contribution to well-being in local communities. The decision to collaborate with Pro Loco Caorera was not coincidental: this association plays a key role in promoting and developing the local area, offering an important point of reference for the community. Initiatives like this confirm our commitment to employees and the local area, by promoting a healthy work-life balance and strengthening connections within the company community.
